SunRise Poem

For today’s post I would like to share another poem that I have written.

SunRise

by Maranda Wabik

Fog rolls in over the river.

Overhead the first rays of sun poke in.

Dawn is breaking,

World is shaking,

Time is changing.

As night turns into day the rays illuminate the truth of life.

Sun rising in the east burn away the fog.

Uncertainty will not bog down discovery.

Water ripples as the wind picks up speed.

The smell of fresh cold air fills thirsty lungs.

Bare feet walk in the dew soaked grass.

This new day is filled with hope.

Hope washing away sorrows of days past.

As a new day dawns we can remember

Life is just beginning again.

Apollo’s chariot reigning in the sun soaked joy of possibilities!
