For today’s post I would like to share another poem I have written.
Law of Attraction
by Maranda Wabik
Satin, silk, lace, frills, and ruffles.
The fabrics swirl about the room.
A myriad of colors washing over the bed.
Twirling and dancing in front of the mirror
To a song only I can hear.
The ritual of dressing is something to be relished.
Even indecision is joyful.
Clothes of delicate construct flow over my skin
Making me smile.
The simplicity of style
And fashion combines with complexity
Of emotions and desires.
The old adage
DRESS FOR THE LIFE YOU WANT
Echos in my head.
I want adventure, love, intense emotions,
And to make memories I can cherish forever!
I want a full life
I declare to myself
With a wink and smirk.
