Crisp Air and Autumn Fair: A Poem

Welcome back to White Rose of Avalon, my Darlings.   For today’s blog post, I will be sharing a poem about the enchantment of Autumn festivals!

Crisp Air and Autumn Fair

by Maranda Wabik

The smell of apples and cinnamon entrance

Bright sights of pumpkins before my eyes dance

A smile graces my face

As I pull my sweater more tightly around me

The crisp air of Autumn surrounds me

With the wind carrying through my hair

Oh, but the day is so fair

As we walk along the way

On this Autumn Festival day

Fallen leaves are underfoot

Creating a blanket of fiery colors

Oh, how I love the simple pleasures

Which are found beyond measure

When outdoors in Autumn’s tranquility!

~I hope that you have enjoyed this short poem.   Let me know your thoughts in the comments below!

Note on Image: The image at the top of the post is a lovely painting titled Penasco Fall Festival by Lorraine Alexander.   I found the art on https://www.theadobefineart.com/lorraine-alexander/penasco-fall-festival.
