Welcome back to White Rose of Avalon, my Darlings. For this week’s Siren Saturday, I have decided to share another entry in my Incarnated Mermaid Diaries series. Today’s topic is Feeling the Energy of the Gwragedd Annwn!
Once the dark half of the year truly sets in, I always feel the energy of the Gwragedd Annwn even more strongly in my life. These Welsh Lake Maidens hold such deep resonance with nurturance, maternal energy, and Priestess energy that their supportive nature is wonderful to work with when one feels the desire to go within. Of course, this happens quite naturally as the Wheel of the Year turns from the light half of the year to the dark. In fact, we are now in the darkest time of the year, the time between the Autumn Equinox and the Winter Solstice. This is the time with more dark hours of the day than light!
So, you may wonder how to work with the Gwragedd Annwn in this deeply introspective time. Well, I always love to contact them via Water Scrying or Mirror Scrying, feeling myself pulled into Avalon through Astral Projection to spend time with them. You can also choose to journal on what the Gwragedd Annwn make you feel. For instance, do you feel a strong connection to them through the story of The Lady of Llyn y Fan Fach, or through the Arthurian Lady of the Lake? Explore this in writing to get a better understanding of your relationship to their energy.
