Welcome back to White Rose of Avalon, my Darlings.   For today’s Autumn Equinox blog post, I am sharing a poem about Siren Magick!

The Siren Witch and the Dark Waters

Call of the Sea at night

Is washing over my being with might

Waking from my slumber

I begin my walk down to the shore

Not really knowing what I am here for

Until the soft notes of a tune reach my ear

I know this could mean danger, yet I have no fear

A smile graces my face

As I see a tail in the Sea like lace

Dark and sparkling scales 

That I reach out to touch

Soon, I am falling

Pulled beneath the night tide

Where there is nowhere to hide

Swimming deeper in the Siren’s grip

I know that through a portal we will slip

Arriving in the Watery Otherworld

I feel fully alive and at peace

I am in the depths of the Cauldron of Truth

Where I listen to the Siren’s message

She gives me hints that I need to hear

A knowledge of where my Autumn will take me

Washes over my mind

I know what I must leave behind

And I know the new directions of my path

All thanks to having listened to the Siren’s Sage Advice

We swim together back through the portal

Then, she guides me through the Sea

Back to the shoreline

Where I bid her fondly adieu, with love and respect

I am filled with gratitude

When I part from the night Sea

Having set my heart free!
