Welcome back to White Rose of Avalon, my Darlings. For today’s blog post, I am sharing a poem about watching the liminal beauty of an early September sunrise!
A September Sunrise
by Maranda Wabik
Golden Sunshine rising in the sky
Painting the landscape with purple and pink
Oh, it makes my heart rise high
Seeing this September Sunrise dousing the sky with ink
A smile dances on my face
As I watch the Sun illuminate the day
The energy of subtle grace
Is overflowing, as I dance with the Fae
The Summer is ending
The Autumn is nearly here
There is so much love sending
As I welcome the transition without fear
It is a joyful time to be alive
It is a joyful time where I will do more than survive
It is a joyful time to thrive
Oh, yes, watching the September Sunrise
Is the time when gratitude overflows
That is the true prize
On this September Sunrise!

What a gorgeous, uplifting poem, Maranda! 🌅 I love how you capture that exact feeling of a September morning—the way the light shifts between seasons, the purple-pink palette, and that magical “dance with the Fae” energy. The transition from summer to autumn can feel bittersweet, but your words turn it into something celebratory and fearless.
“That is the true prize” really lands—gratitude as the heart of the moment. Thank you for sharing this beautiful start to the day! 💛
I am so glad to know that my poem resonated with you! I find that the liminality of the transition between seasons is truly magickal. As always, thanks for reading and commenting! ✨
