September, Month of Sirens: A Poem

Welcome back to White Rose of Avalon, my Darlings.   For today’s blog post, I will be sharing a poem about September and Siren energy!

September, Month of Sirens

by Maranda Wabik

September enters with a warmth of late Summer Sun

Oh, there is still time to have fun

Swimming in the Sea, and Dancing, feeling free

Yes, the nights and mornings are crisp

A time of liminal change is in the midst

As the month wears on,

Summer gives way to Autumn

It is this very liminality

This very sense of warmth cooling off

That makes September a month of Siren energy

The Mermaid’s call at the peak of Summer

Is transitioning into the Vampire’s thrall of Autumn

The Siren holds resonance with both energies

Her energy is the liminal transition point

Oh, yes, I feel the Siren’s Song in my Soul

When September is changing

From late Summer to early Fall

Embracing the Siren’s allure

Is something that can make the days charged

Charged with energy

Charged with potential

Charged with enchantment

Oh, yes, September is a month of liminality!
