Do You Wanna Build a Sandcastle?

A thrill of childhood joy sends waves of electricity
A pulsation down the spine
As a loud laugh escapes the lips
A time of pure joy hangs in the air
Along with the smell of saltwater
A soft breeze ripples through my hair
As a smile graces my lips
With a sway of my hips
I dance in joy
While I begin to gather sand
Oh, yes, this castle will be grand
Memories of childhood wonder
Flit through my mind
This is such a lovely activity
That I am sad I had left behind
The energy of the Sea is infused in the sand
Making this sandcastle a Mermaid’s Palace
Oh, how I wish to raise a chalice
I am filled with love and devotion to the Sea
Where I feel myself set free!
