Welcome August Sunshine

The Sun’s rays beat down

Turning around the frown

August has finally arrived

With the heat at a peak

Oh, I am ready to thrive

Beyond the need to survive

The Summer is at its peak

More than I can speak

Oh, I am far from meek

There is so much fun to be had

Oh, yes, I will not feel bad

For the joy I will have 

As this month of Sun is here

Having warmed the ground

Making the heat appear stronger

For much longer

The world is warm

The world is bright

As I bask in the August Sunlight

The first Harvest has arrived

A time to plan the next season is about to begin

For now, I delight in the August Sunlight!
