Welcome back to White Rose of Avalon, my Darlings. For today’s Tarot Thursday post, I will be discussing the Six of Pentacles and how the card relates to the building of community!
At the most basic interpretation, the Six of Pentacles is a card all about sharing the abundance you have with others and about being humble enough to accept help when it is offered to you. You see, this very energy at the heart of the card is how we build community. To build community is to be willing to share what you can with those around you. To build community is also to build trust in others, and that trust can lead to the willingness to accept aid when you are in need of it!
Whenever this card appears in a Reading, I always feel this sense of support. The card itself engenders a reminder that we need not walk the path alone, that we can ask for help. It is also a reminder that to offer help to others is a wonderful gift. Sometimes the simplest of offers to assist someone can truly turn their day around. After all, we have the ability to impact others in a positive way, and often we cannot see just how profoundly a small act of kindness can turn someone else’s day around. In fact, those small acts of kindness are something else which I deeply associate with the Six of Pentacles. You need not be doing something splashy and dramatic to share the wealth you have; it can be simple, but no less impactful!
At the end of the day, we all have areas of abundance and wealth that we can share; it need not be monetary. You can share a wealth of knowledge, or a wealth of support by listening. You can share an abundance of some tangible resource, or even an abundance of time. The Six of Pentacles is the card I most often think of when I think of all of these concepts. We should remember that if we want to have a better quality of life through having better support systems, sharing the wealth, no matter what form it comes in, is truly a step in that direction!
