Swimming in the Emotions

Waves lapping against my feet

As I stand at the shoreline, where water and land meet

I can hear the call of the Mermaids

Singing the Song of the Soul

Calling me home, where I am truly whole

Deeper and deeper, I dive

Finding myself in the Ocean, I thrive

I swim in the depths

I am awash with emotions

Feeling all of the things I did not know

Were in my heart

Learning more about myself

Oh, this is the start

The beginning of a new path

The beginning of learning what life hath

The beginning of raising my voice

It is my Sovereign choice

To Sing the Song of my Soul

To swim in the depths of the emotions

To sip of the Sacred Potions

To learn the truth of the Inner World

To initiate others on the Path of the Mermaids

Oh, yes, this is my Sacred Calling

One that I have been shown 

In payment for my willingness

To swim in the emotions!
