Welcome back to White Rose of Avalon, my Darlings. For this week’s Siren Saturday, I have decided to share another entry in my Incarnated Mermaid Diaries series. Today’s topic is The Energy of the Golden Mermaid!
The Golden Mermaid energy is the Mermaid who basks in the Sun, happy to spend her time gazing at the Sunrise and Sunset. She feels joy at having the Sun warm her skin as she combs her hair out, sitting on a rock. Her aura radiates Golden warmth, and she encourages others to be full of hope and optimism.
I have long been attracted to this sort of Mermaid energy and Mermaid imagery. I love a good Mermaid artwork with the Sun gleaming in the background and the sky awash with the stunning colors of Sunrise or Sunset. However, this is more than a simple love of a certain artistic interpretation of Mermaids. I think that it is a deeply personal thing for me. You see, besides being an Incarnated Mermaid and having a very Watery Vedic Astrology chart ruled by Venus, I also have a ton of Solar energy in my birth chart. This is true of my Sidereal, Vedic, and Tropical charts. You see, no matter which chart I look at, I have a Leo stellium, so the energy of Leo, and therefore the energy of the Sun, is very strong in my natal charts! Beyond that, I even have a Golden Aura, which has led some people to have trouble seeing me as anything other than full of light, unwilling to see that I can have flaws just like everyone else. Now, that could be a problem of misconception because of my Golden Aura, because of my personality, or even because of my nature as an Incarnated Mermaid, but it is something to note.
So, you may wonder how to embrace the energy of the Golden Mermaid if you find her energy attractive. Well, I embrace this energy by working Gold into my spellcraft and rituals with the Mermaids. I also like to meditate with the Mermaids near my local river with the Sun hanging high in the sky. Seeing the Sun Glitter on the water definitely puts me in the headspace to commune with the Golden energy of the Mermaids! Other than that, something as simple as watching the Sunrise or Sunset, especially if you can do so near water, can aid in drawing this Golden Mermaid energy close to you.

Great! Tha shows a clear, transparent alignment of internalization and externalization, which is great. My way of expressing and incorporating solar energy is to just do what a Virgo does: physical and spiritual hygiene. That is the only way, as far as I see, how the Sun in an Earth sign like Virgo can be expressed, in being an internal and external caretaker/gardener. It’s more related to Demeter, but I identify more with Hestia – keeping an internal flame alive, and an external illumination always very centered and distinct. It’s not a big flame like in other signs, but it’s what I’ve got 🙂
