Welcome back to White Rose of Avalon, my Darlings. For today’s Tarot Thursday blog post, I will be discussing the Ace of Pentacles and how this card can be used as a tool for building new dreams!
When the Ace of Pentacles appears in a Reading, the first thing I think of is that a new foundation is being built. The first bricks being laid, the beginnings of what will become a lovely new home, new business, or new endeavor, are what are forecasted with the Ace of Pentacles. This slow and steady build-up to something new and wonderful is a lovely thing to see.
There is an energy of possibility, of hope, when this card appears. This is a call to begin to dream, to ask yourself: what do I want to create? What will set my soul on fire? What is my passion? What do I need in life? The very quest to find the answers can push you into a totally new realm of being. You may learn new things about yourself. It may be that you no longer truly want what you once thought you wanted. For instance, maybe you had been someone with an intense wanderlust, never wanting to set down roots. If that is the case, the appearance of the Ace of Pentacles may signal that you are ready to make significant changes and find a true forever home!
Oh, yes, when we look at the Ace of Pentacles, we can see where we desire to grow, what we desire to build. There is something related to the Creatrix in this energy, for the Creatrix certainly builds things anew with her abundant fertility. The energy of this card also calls to mind Melusine’s nickname The Builder Faery, for it is truly a card that asks us to build up something. This card heralds a time when something will be built from the ground up! In that way, I consider this card one that is linked to people who are self-made. After all, self-made individuals have truly built their own lives through hard work, building new things from scratch, and that is exactly the energy of the Ace of Pentacles!
