Welcome back to White Rose of Avalon, my Darlings.   For today’s blog post, I will be discussing Summer as the Season of joy and reflecting on the celebration of the Sun!

Basking in the joy of the Summer Sun, letting the golden glow bathe the skin.   Oh, what a joy this is.   The days are long, the nights are full of fun.   There is so much abundance, radiance, and inspiration to be had.   From days spent at the water’s edge, be that the beach, the river, the creek, or the lake, to nights around a bonfire. 

The smell of flowers, sunscreen, ice cream, and sea salt air.   Oh, what a way to enjoy the fair.   The fair weather, the fair of face, and the fair opportunity.   There are so many activities to do, and so many places to go.  You can hike, or swim, or dance, or explore.   I love the abundance of experiences that can be had during this Summertime!

We all have more free time, especially given the extra daylight hours.   Whether you choose a vacation, or a weekend trip, or even just a day away, there is a lot of fun to be found.   Sometimes this means a large plan for what you want to do, and other times this is a simple matter of letting go and being willing to get lost.   After all, some of my favorite memories of Summer were completely spontaneous, beginning with a walk or a drive, and ending up discovering new delights!

With the Sun shining down, the inspiration can be truly profound.   I find that I write more and get more done more quickly during the light half of the year.   My body is ready for more activity, as the Sun is shining brightly.   Gone are the Wintery days of rest; now it is time to put endurance to the test.   There is so much to see, so much to do.   I am overjoyed to have this energy growing within.  I have a thirst for new beginnings and new memories to be made.   I wonder what this Summer will truly bring?   And that is just the thing to keep me excited to see what is next.
