The Call of Aphrodite: A Poem

Welcome back to White Rose of Avalon, my Darlings.   For today’s blog post, I am sharing a poem about hearing the call of Aphrodite!

The Call of Aphrodite

by Maranda Wabik

The Rose scent wafts through the air

On this day so fair

As I look out into the Sea

Feeling a sense of being truly free

The smell of Roses is the call

A call which will never let me fall

I hear the tinkling of laughter

Showing me what I am after

As I follow the sound and smell

Knowing that all is well

I happen upon a lovely garden wall

As I pass that gate, I will have it all

The Great Goddess smiles

As my heart soars by miles

She has called me here

I know that I have nothing to fear

When Aphrodite holds me near

For I have learned to whom I am dear!

~I hope you have enjoyed this short poem.   Let me know your thoughts in the comments below!
