Welcome back to White Rose of Avalon, my Darlings.   For today’s blog post, I will be discussing how you can use the Queen Archetype to build Sisterhood.   I think that this is especially potent when combined with the Maiden and the Creatrix!    This is also related to the idea of a Morgen, as the Leader of a group of Priestesses, Morgan le Fay, as the leader of the Ninefold Sisterhood of Avalon.

Morgan le Fay is most certainly the Queen of Avalon, and she leads the Nine Morgens of Avalon as Priestess of the Holy Isle.   So, if we learn to tap into our own Queen energy, we can begin to draw in the right people to join us in Sisterhood.   This is not about being above anyone as the leader, but rather about being the one leading the ceremony.   You are the Queen, the Morgen, the High Priestess, because you are leading the rituals at that time.   However, these duties can pass from one Sister to another depending on the needs and expertise of the Sisterhood involved.   After all, Morgan le Fay’s other Sisters in the Ninefold Sisterhood all had special gifts of their own to offer!

Now, I mentioned the Queen energy combining with the Maiden and the Creatrix above.   I think these two other archetypes truly meld well with the Queen when we look at Sisterhood, and I am not just saying that because I hold all three of these archetypes in my personality make-up.   Let’s explore how the Maiden and the Creatrix work with the Queen.   The Maiden is the youthful energy, always desiring to learn and play, full of joy, and happy to work with others.   The Creatrix is the one who holds a deep well of creativity, the eternal Muse and artist, and the one who is always happy to both work with and support others in their creative endeavors.   And, is not magick and ritual an act of creation?   That means that when we combine these three archetypes of Queen, Maiden, and Creatrix, we strike a balance within ourselves that readies us to receive the blessings of Sisterhood and form lasting bonds!   

You may build a Sisterhood by hosting Women’s Circles in your local area.   You may build a Sisterhood by creating classes and other events that encourage women to meet together in person.   Or, you can build a Sisterhood through creating an Online Sacred Space.   This is certainly something that I have been doing for the last couple of years.    My Patreon, Avalonian Rose Faery Mysteries, is a Faery Mystery Community.   I have also built Sisterhood through creating and teaching online classes!   

At the end of the day, there is no one way to build Sisterhood, as long as you are willing to take on the responsibility of creating and maintaining a place for Sacred Communion.    I hope you have enjoyed this short meditation on why Queen energy is essential to building a Sisterhood of like-minded people around you.   How do you build Sisterhood in your life?   Let me know your thoughts in the comments below!
