A Drop of Water Ripples Out: A Reflection on Creating Change

Welcome back to White Rose of Avalon, my Darlings.    For today’s Mermaid Monday blog post, I will be discussing creating change by becoming a Voice of the Sacred Waters, Watery Faery Queens, and Water Goddesses!   After all, each drop of water ripples out, each pebble dropped into the water creates ripples, and that is true of each action we take in reverence for the Sacred Waters.

When you begin to walk the Spiraling Path of the Water Priestess and the Watery Enchantress, you begin to find that you can hear the Voice of the Waters, and the Voices of Watery Fae and Faery Queens.   Maybe those voices are what lead you to discover the path in the first place.   That is certainly true for me, but I have discovered that the more I walk the path, the more time I devote to this work, the more clearly I can hear these voices!

In my work, I have found that one of my most profound duties is to become a voice in the world myself, sharing their messages with others.   That is certainly something that I do here on this blog.   Now, unlike me, you may not be a writer or Professional Priestess, becoming a voice and a teacher of these Sacred Mysteries.   So, how can you create change on a smaller scale?

You certainly do not need to develop a Priestess Business or hold a desire to do online work devoted to the Sacred Waters, like running a blog or YouTube channel where you discuss these things.   You see, the fact is that any small act of service to the Sacred Waters ripples out to create change also.   One of the most potent ways to begin to create change is to take on the role of Activist for the Sacred Waters.   This can be signing online petitions that you come across to protect the Waters and aquatic animals.   This can be donating money to Water charities.   This can be doing clean-ups at local bodies of water.   This can be creating new petitions yourself or even participating in protests.

Every little bit helps.   You may love to use your voice to help create change, inspiring others to work with the Sacred Waters.   You may prefer to be more active, literally doing clean-ups, protests, and creating petitions.   Or, you may be somewhere in between, signing online petitions and still figuring out how you can best walk this path.   All these things are beautiful and part of the ever-evolving tapestry of Sacred Service to the Waters and the Water Spirits!

I hope that you have enjoyed this short reflection and discussion of how small acts can create change.   What is your favorite way to serve the Sacred Waters currently?   Let me know your thoughts in the comments below!
