Creating Sacred Space Online, as a Professional Priestess

Welcome back to White Rose of Avalon, my Darlings.   For today’s blog post, I want to discuss a topic that is very important on my path as a Professional Priestess.   That topic is creating Sacred Space, particularly online, as a Professional Priestess.   Given that I run an online Priestess business, the creation of online Sacred Spaces is quite imperative, and I want to discuss a bit about that today!

So, you may wonder exactly how I go about creating a Sacred Space online.   Well, firstly, utilizing Private Channels on my Discord allows my students a safe place that only those in class can access.   This provides some comfort knowing that what is shared in the Private Channels will not be accessed publicly!   Secondly, I have my Patreon Faery Mystery Community, Avalonian Rose Faery Mysteries.   The whole of my Patreon is a safe space, as only paid members can access the vast majority of the content. Beyond that, my Raven Tier Members have access to a Private Group Chat, where they can feel safe to discuss Spiritual topics with other like-minded people if they wish to do so.   Thirdly, I create Sacred Space online by approaching each interaction with a student or client with the utmost respect and empathy.   I consider providing Tarot Readings, Channeled Readings, and Mentoring Sessions to be a Sacred Duty, so I show up in a respectful and loving way.   That may seem small, but it is not, because this provides a sense of security to everyone involved.

The other ways that I create Sacred Space online are very much the ways I create Sacred Space in-person.   I always make sure to keep my library, where I perform Readings and teach my classes, energetically cleansed.   I always smoke cleanse myself, the cards, and the whole Reading area before each Reading.   I often sound cleanse with a Bell and also with my voice, keeping the energy from becoming stagnant.   It is also in this space where I do many of my own Spells and Rituals, so there is often the energy of Water, from Scrying and other Watery Rites that took place earlier, and the smell of incense and herbs.   These small things truly help to feel like you have stepped out of the mundane and into the Otherworldly and the Sacred!

I hope that you have enjoyed this short reflection looking at some of the ways I create Sacred Space for my students and clients, as well as for myself, as a Professional Priestess.   What ways do you prefer to go about creating Sacred Space for yourself?   Let me know your thoughts in the comments below!

  1. This is a beautifully written and reflective post, Maranda. 🙏

I love how you distinguish between structural boundaries (Discord private channels, Patreon tiers) and energetic ones (cleansing with smoke, sound, and ritual). That balance is so rare to see articulated so clearly. The Raven Tier group chat as a “safe space for like-minded souls” really stood out—community containment is such an underrated aspect of online sacred work.

For me, creating sacred space often starts with a simple breath anchor and lighting a beeswax candle at my desk. I also use a small selenite bowl to “close” digital tabs symbolically before any reading or session. It’s my way of saying: now we cross the threshold.

Thank you for sharing your path so generously. Looking forward to more reflections from your Avalonian Rose Faery Mysteries space. 🧚‍♀️✨

    • Thank you so much for your kind words! I am glad that my reflection resonated with you. I agree that sometimes even the smallest actions, like lighting a candle can aid in coming into Sacred Space. As always, thank you for reading and commenting! ✨ 🧚 🧜🏻‍♀️
