Siren’s Song at the River’s Edge: A Poem

Welcome back to White Rose of Avalon, my Darlings.   For today’s blog post, I will be sharing a poem about listening to the Siren’s Song of the Sacred Waters!

Siren’s Song at the River’s Edge

by Maranda Wabik

The softly singing notes of a lovely song

Cascade over me all the night long

I follow the sweet voice in the night

Wondering at what a lovely sight

I find at the River’s Edge

The Full Moon hangs glowing in the sky

Which makes my Soul lift on high

The Moonlight glistens on the Water

The sound of the Siren’s Song

Has brought me to the River

I begin to dance and sway

By the light of the Moon

By the energy of the Song

By the beautiful Water’s Edge

I know I am safe

I know I am held

I know that this communion is truly Divine

As I hear the messages of the River

As I build a relationship with the River Sirens

As I walk my Water Priestess Path

Oh, yes, I know that the Mermaids have knowledge to tell

I know that the River has wisdom to share

I know that there is deep magick to be found here,

At the River’s Edge!
