Welcome back to White Rose of Avalon, my Darlings. For this week’s Mermaid Monday blog post, I have decided to share some information about a new series of short videos I have just begun!
This series is titled Mermaid Musings with Maranda, and it is available on Instagram and Facebook as Reels and on YouTube as shorts. So far, the first one has been released this past Friday, and I plan to record and upload a new short video each Friday as part of an ongoing series.
Now, what exactly is Mermaid Musings with Maranda? This is a series where I will be taking some time each week to discuss things that have been on my mind lately. Topics will range from specifically Mermaidy, Watery, and Faery-related, to short updates on my work and life, to things that have affected me profoundly on an emotional level that week. I hope that this series becomes a tradition where I can regularly share bits of my life, my work, and my process. Part of the inspiration behind this new series is to give people a short look at my life and work. And, it definitely will be short, as I am keeping all the videos to under three minutes, as YouTube Shorts have a three-minute limit! It is my hope that the new short videos will catch people’s attention and encourage them to seek out my long-form content in my YouTube videos and my blog posts.
It would be wonderful to reach new people and grow my community, and therefore the reach of my Voice. One of my Sacred Duties as a Priestess and Enchantress is to be a Voice for the Mermaids, the Faeries, the Faery Queen Goddesses, and the Sacred Waters. So, creating a new way to spread those messages is truly exciting. I hope you will all enjoy following me on this new series, this new journey. I will link my socials below so that you can keep informed and see the series as it unfolds!
