Springtime Showers & Bright Flowers: A Poem

Welcome back to White Rose of Avalon, my Darlings.   For today’s post, I am sharing a poem about the beauty of the rain nourishing the earth, leading to new growth!

Springtime Showers & Bright Flowers

by Maranda Wabik

The rain falls on the ground

The thirsty earth drinks up the hydration

Water feeds the seeds

Earth and Water elements are combining

Colascaling into beautiful blooms

Bright flowers full of life

Bright flowers are rife

In the blossoming of Spring

The eternal Vernal joy

Of the rain washing away the pain

Of the rain cleansing the earth

Of the rain nourishing the seeds

With rain and sunshine

The blooms spring forth in abundance

Leading us to realize why the Vernaltide

Is called the season of Spring

The rain and the Sun dance

The rain and the soil entrance

All three come together

Forming the blossoming of the blooms

For which we are grateful to see each Springtide!

~I hope you have enjoyed this Springtime celebration of a poem.   Let me know your thoughts in the comments below!

  1. What a beautiful and uplifting poem, Maranda! 🌧️🌸 I love how you captured the dance between rain and earth, and the way you used words like “colascaling” and “Vernaltide” adds such a unique, musical feel to the imagery. It truly celebrates the magic of spring and the joy of watching life bloom again. Thank you for sharing this seasonal gem—it made me smile and appreciate the rain so much more! 🌷🤝
