Welcome back to White Rose of Avalon, my Darlings.   For today’s Mermaid Monday blog post, I will be discussing the connection between Mermaid Mysticism and Sacred Sensuality!    The Oracular arts, when working with Mermaids, can be seen as incredibly tied to Sacred Sensuality practices.   

The Mermaid’s connection with the Water element makes them intimately tied to emotions and also intimately tied to sensuality.   The very movement and fluidity of Water harkens to sensuality.   The feeling of Water cascading over the skin is one of Sacred Sensuality.   So, yes, Mermaid Mysticism is deeply entwined with Sacred Sensuality.

When we seek to commune with the Mermaids to learn lessons, they will often share lessons tied to the emotions and lessons tied to sensuality.   I have had the Mermaids encourage me to tap into pleasure, and encourage me to remember that Sensuality and Sexuality are Sacred.   The Mermaids are always quick to encourage the embracing of the senses.   We must remember that the sensual is not just about sex; the sensual is taking pleasure and enjoyment in what makes our senses (all of them) come alive!

When we seek to commune with the Mermaids, through trance work, through astral projection, and through Divination, the insights they will give surrounding the Sacredness of Sensuality can be particularly profound.   I have certainly found this to be the case when I am channeling the Mermaids, and I channel several types of Mermaids for clients in my Mystical Mermaid Channeled Readings here at White Rose of Avalon!   To be honest, I think that even beyond Mermaid Mysticism, there is something quite sensual about Oracular Work in general.   After all, we are expanding our perception and opening our senses to that which is not always perceptible to others.   We are engaging our senses in new and intimate ways!

I find such magick in communing with the Mermaids, both for myself and for clients.   Even the simple act of meditating with the Mermaids or soaking in a bath, embracing the energy and Sacredness of the Water, draws me into the world of the Mermaids.   Could this be because I am an Incarnated Mermaid?   Surely, that could be the case.   However, I think that those of us with a deep and abiding love and connection with the Water element can feel the pull of the Mermaids, even if we do not have Mermaid Souls!
