Welcome back to White Rose of Avalon, my Darlings. For today’s blog post, I am sharing my reflection about speaking at the 4th Annual Water Priestess Confluence this past weekend!
First off, I have to thank Annwyn Avalon, Tiffany Marik, and the whole Water Priestess Team for having me at the event. The whole weekend was an absolutely phenomenal experience! I loved getting to attend all of the other presentations and to meet so many amazing people from around the world. Each presenter had so much love and passion for the subject that they were discussing, and it was truly a joy to be able to see that passion.
When it came time for my own presentation, on Saturday, which was the second day of the three-day online conference, I was beyond excited, but I was also nervous. While I have run an entire year of my online class, The Melusine Mysteries, and am very comfortable speaking in front of people, speaking at a conference was new for me. However, as soon as I began to speak, I felt Melusine there with me, and I felt a sense of calm and joy wash over me! I was so happy to be able to share my passion and love for Melusine, her story, and the wisdom of her Lady of the Fountain aspect with the attendees. My presentation went quite smoothly. Well, smoothly after a minor technical issue with screensharing, which we can thank Mercury Retrograde for. However, the minor hiccup did not bother me, as I was just so grateful to be at the event. Seeing all of the comments from the attendees during the question portion truly made my heart sing. I loved that people resonated with what I had to say. I also loved getting to go off on little tangents during the questions, as there is always something so special to have the chance to see other perspectives on the materials I have created. Finally, I was very moved to have Tiffany promote The Melusine Mysteries as we were wrapping up, as she is one of my students from the Class of 2025, and will be in the Alumni Circle this year, and she was also the person to recommend me to speak at the Water Priestess Confluence! Her words truly meant the world to me, so thank you again, Tiffany. As a sidenote, you can read Tiffany’s full review of the class on The Melusine Mysteries Class page, which I will link below.
The rest of the Water Priestess Confluence went swimmingly. There were so many stunningly beautiful presentations the whole weekend, and I truly cannot choose my favorite. It would be unfair to pick just one, as each presentation had so much to offer, and I did attend all of them! Each presentation was as unique as the wonderful Priestess presenting it. I adored seeing just how diverse each one was, while still being so impactful. I also loved attending the After Party, which was a great time to just chat and get to know the other presenters and attendees better. The Water Priestess Confluence left me feeling alive and so inspired, and planning new adventures I want to go on. Overall, the whole weekend was truly enchanted, and I cannot wait for next year!
I hope you have enjoyed reading this reflection on my experiences attending the 4th Annual Water Priestess Confluence. Let me know your thoughts in the comments below!

What a lovely recap, Maranda! It was such a joy experiencing the Confluence with you. I’m so glad Mercury Retrograde didn’t dampen your fantastic presentation—you handled it like a pro! Can’t wait to see what you do next.
I am so glad you enjoyed reading about the confluence from my perspective! As always, thanks for reading and commenting.
