Welcome back to White Rose of Avalon, my Darlings. For today’s Femme Fatale Friday post, I will be sharing a reflection of my experiences preparing for the 4th Annual Water Priestess Confluence, which begins today! This weekend, all of my posts will be shorter due to the Water Priestess Confluence being my primary focus for the next few days. However, I could not miss out on discussing some of my feelings about getting to speak tomorrow with all of my wonderful readers today!
I could not have been more excited to be recommended by one of my wonderful students of The Melusine Mysteries Class of 2025 to apply to speak at the 4th Annual Water Priestess Confluence. It was such an incredible compliment, and I was overjoyed as I sent in my proposal. When I found out that I had been accepted as a speaker, I was quite overwhelmed by my excitement! This is something that I always knew I wanted to do, to speak at conferences, and I could not have imagined a better one to start with than the Water Priestess Confluence. So, yes, I am beyond thrilled that I will be speaking tomorrow afternoon at 3 PM EST.
My lecture is entitled Melusine: Lady of the Fountain of Thirst and the Gifts of the Mermaid Queen. I knew that this was the ideal topic, the ideal aspect of Melusine, to discuss given this year’s theme for the Water Priestess Confluence, which is Sacred Springs: The Healing Power of Water. Since I got accepted, I have been working on my presentation and spent a good bit of time writing a guidebook for the attendees! So, needless to say, I am beyond thrilled to be sharing a presentation about Melusine at such a prestigious event. The process of preparing for the Water Priestess Confluence has been a great experience. I have truly enjoyed working on my presentation and promoting the event! That being said, it is all still very new to me, so I have been feeling nervous as well as excited. However, I know that this will be an illuminating experience, and one that I will cherish. After all, I am doing this as an act of devotion to Melusine, and I know she will be there with me! I also know that I will get to meet so many amazing people through this event, and that is perhaps one of the most joyful things for me.
Overall, I am clearly very excited and overjoyed to be a part of the Water Priestess Confluence, and it is such an ideal way to both honor Melusine and celebrate the upcoming enrollment for The Melusine Mysteries, which opens a week from today. Talk about an ideal confluence of events!
