Welcome back to White Rose of Avalon, my Darlings. For this week’s Siren Saturday, I have decided to share the fourth entry in my Incarnated Mermaid Diaries series. Today’s topic is Incarnated Mermaids and the Celtic Venus!
As many of my regular readers here likely know, the energy of the Celtic Venus has long been a central part of my magickal and spiritual practices. The Celtic Venus is the Venusian energy found within the stories and the aspects of Celtic Faery Queen Goddesses and stories of Faery Women from Celtic lands. The energy of Venus, as a planet, and within Goddess Spirituality is truly found the world over, and for someone like myself, who is devoted to Avalonian Faery Queen Goddesses, it is beautiful to see Venusian energy in these tales!
So, you may wonder, just how does the Celtic Venus relate to my being an Incarnated Mermaid? Well, the answer is quite simple. The energy of Venus, and of the Celtic Venus, is a very sensual, loving, and deeply feminine energy. Mermaids are generally seen in much the same terms, and in my experiences as an Incarnated Mermaid, I certainly tend to experience life with a deep connection to Venusian energy! I cannot say for certain if this is true across the board for all Incarnated Mermaids. However, I would not be surprised if many of us have a connection to Venus as a planet, and Venusian Goddesses. After all, I know from reading accounts of life from other Incarnated Mermaids, and listening to them speak of their experiences in YouTube videos, that emotions, love, and this deep connection to feminine energy are often discussed.
Certainly, for me, I have found that this connection with Venusian energy, and this true love and devotion to Celtic Venusian Faery Queens, has really been a benefit to my life. It is hard to say if it was me who sought out Celtic Venusian Faery Queens to build a relationship with, or if I heeded their call. Most likely, it is a bit of both! I certainly actively sought to read folklore and myths about Faery Queens and Celtic Goddesses who had epic love stories, and made choices with their hearts. However, at first, it was out of enjoyment and pleasure in exploring the stories. It took some time, even after I began practicing Faery Magick and Water Magick, for me to build relationships with specific Faery Queen Goddesses. That is when I felt like I was heeding their calls, one after another, and my life has definitely improved since I began relationships with these Goddesses!
That is what led to my taking on the mantle of Priestess, and I am now Priestess to five Avalonian Faery Queen Goddesses. I have to say that my path to becoming a Priestess, and working as a Professional Avalonian Water Priestess, was definitely something that was born out of this connection to the Celtic Venusian energy! My Vedic natal chart is even ruled by Venus, as I have learned over the last year of studying Sidereal and Vedic Astrology. So, yes, all of these things certainly seem to be intertwined!
I honestly could not be more grateful to be devoted to the Avalonian Faery Queens, Morgan le Fay, Blodeuwedd, Guinevere, Rhiannon, and my beloved Melusine. These relationships have truly been something that has aided me in embracing my Soul Origins as an Incarnated Mermaid, and in feeling more at home in my own skin, even when living as a human is the most difficult! In fact, when Melusine reached out to me to tell me I was her descendant, that was one of the most beautifully comforting things I have ever experienced, as it made my Soul Origins make even more sense. I was even more grateful and a bit overwhelmed when Melusine asked me to teach about her, which led to the creation of The Melusine Mysteries. Teaching The Melusine Mysteries has been one of the most incredible things I have done in my life!
As you can see, it is also this connection with the Celtic Venus energy that has helped guide me on my true life path of being a Professional Priestess, of using my gifts to help others. It has not always been an easy journey, as I discovered my Soul Origins, as I came to terms with being so different, and as I realized that others may never understand me. That being said, I know that by Priestessing and Teaching, I am making a difference in the lives of my clients and students. And that is a truly beautiful thing!

That this recognition then evolved into your priestess path and the creation of The Melusine Mysteries feels like the most natural and powerful magic—a river finding its true course.
To answer your question, my own spirituality gives me comfort in a similar way: by providing a framework of meaning that turns isolation into sacred solitude, and difference into a unique thread in a larger tapestry. It’s the quiet knowing that there are echoes of an older, deeper story within us, and that connecting to those echoes—whether through deity, myth, or the elements—is a form of remembering who we truly are. Your journey is a powerful testament to that.
