A Very Merry Elven Yuletide: A Poem

Welcome back to White Rose of Avalon, my Darlings.    For today’s post, I am sharing a poem about having an Elven Yuletide!

A Very Merry Elven Yuletide

by Maranda Wabik

The tree is trimmed with sparkling lights

The music resounds with auditory delight

The smell of cinnamon and cloves abounds

Oh, what a lovely time to be around

The snow is softly forming a blanket outside

While the Elves create a beautiful place to reside

Dancing with joy for all of the gifts

Which family and loved ones hath given

Singing in delight to share with others

The gifts carefully chosen and made

Starlight sparkles, a twinkling note

Outside the window, as the night has fallen

Between the snow and the stars

The whole world is awash

With twinkling energy

With joyful synergy

With the Merry energy of the Elves!

  1. What a delightful poem, Maranda! You’ve woven such a warm, magical atmosphere with your words. I can almost hear the joyous music, smell the cinnamon and cloves, and see the twinkling starlight against the snow. The image of the Elves creating a beautiful place and dancing with joy over heartfelt gifts is absolutely enchanting. It perfectly captures the spirit of Yuletide—the synergy of love, giving, and merry-making. Thank you for sharing this beautiful piece and adding a touch of Elven magic to my day!

    Happy Yuletide! ✨🎄
