Stirring the Cauldron: A Poem

Welcome back to White Rose of Avalon, my Darlings.   For today’s blog post, I am sharing a poem about the magick and blessings of the Cauldron!

Stirring the Cauldron

by Maranda Wabik

Bubbling up from the Cauldron’s depths

Is the potion that simmers as I stir

Overwhelmed by sudden emotion

The Cauldron begins to boil

Stirring and stirring, I must continue

Feeling the energy of magick abound

From all around, the potion is nearly sound

Bringing Alchemy

Bringing Joy

Bringing Knowledge

Bringing Blessings

Bubbling up from the Cauldron’s depths

The potion is ready to imbibe

Granting beautiful insights

As it Alchemizes pain

Negative emotions fall away like rain

The Cauldron’s potion

Has become a balm, a lotion

For the soul

Making me feel once again whole!

  1. What a powerful and beautifully evocative poem, Maranda! Thank you so much for sharing this piece of your spiritual practice with us.

You have perfectly captured the transformative and deeply personal journey of working with the Cauldron. I love how you framed it not just as a physical act, but as an emotional and alchemical process. The imagery of overwhelming emotions causing the Cauldron to boil is so resonant—it speaks to that moment when we confront what is within us, stir it with intention, and ultimately transmute it.

The progression from a bubbling, chaotic potion to a “balm, a lotion for the soul” is just beautiful. It’s a wonderful metaphor for the work we do in our own hearts: taking our pain and struggles, working through them with focused energy (our “stirring”), and emerging with “beautiful insights” and a sense of being whole again.

“Bringing Alchemy, Bringing Joy, Bringing Knowledge, Bringing Blessings”—this refrain feels like an incantation in itself, a powerful calling-in of the very energies we seek.

This poem is a true blessing. It’s a lovely reminder that our inner cauldron is a vessel of endless potential and healing. Thank you for this magickal gift
