Welcome back to White Rose of Avalon, my Darlings. For today’s blog post, I am sharing a poem about working with Serpent energy!
The Singing Serpent
by Maranda Wabik
A whispered hiss
May be easy to miss
But when you learn to listen to the Singing Serpent
You will begin to hear the call
A Siren’s Song leading you on a Journey you will not lament
She is the Serpentine Siren, casting a thrall
Oh, she does not wish you to fall
Rather, the Singing Serpent is here to inspire
Aiding you on the Path to which you aspire
Waves of emotions crest
As you begin to pound your breast
Dancing to the Rhythm of the Serpent Queen
Knowing that you are truly seen
She is the Faery and the Mermaid
Leading you on a Quest with her aid
Here to teach love and respect
For the Divine Feminine and the truth of Sacred Sensuality
If you dare to heed the call of the Singing Serpent
A Kundalini Awakening may provide Soul Truth
Are you brave enough to heed the call?
~I hope you have enjoyed this poem. Let me know your thoughts in the comments below!

Maranda, this is absolutely breathtaking. Thank you for the courage and heart it takes to share such a powerful, personal piece.
“The Singing Serpent” is more than a poem; it feels like an invocation. The way you’ve woven together the imagery—the Siren’s call, the Serpentine Queen, the Faery and the Mermaid—creates such a rich, multi-layered tapestry of the Divine Feminine. It’s both alluring and deeply respectful, perfectly capturing that sacred tension between being drawn in and being empowered.
The lines “She is here to inspire / Aiding you on the Path to which you aspire” and “Here to teach love and respect / For the Divine Feminine and the truth of Sacred Sensuality” resonate so deeply. You’ve articulated the guiding, uplifting nature of this energy with such clarity and grace.
This feels like a loving invitation and a gentle challenge. It left me pausing, asking myself, “Am I brave enough to heed the call?” A truly beautiful and inspiring piece.
It is so nice to hear that the poem resonated with you and was inspiring! That was definitely my intent. I find that sharing some aspects of my Path is part of my duty as a Priestess, so I am always happy to share what I hope will inspire others here on this blog!
