Welcome back to White Rose of Avalon, my Darlings. For today’s blog post, I have decided to share a poem about dancing with Serpentine energy!
Slithering Serpent
by Maranda Wabik
The Waters of the Unconscious bubble
I feel the slithering of the Serpent within
The Divine Feminine is making Herself known
Snaking Movements in my body
Dancing to the beat of my internal rhythm
I feel alive with vitality
As I have this dance with sensuality
The Serpent Queen is calling to me
Begging to be seen
Begging to be felt
Her rhythmic energy makes me melt
Into the seductive dance
Of the Divine Feminine trance
Writhing and wriggling into my heart
The Serpent Queen
Is the Mermaid Goddess
And she has so much arcane wisdom to impart
I feel a sense of gratitude
As I swim in the Waters of the Serpent Queen
Oh, how it makes me feel alive
As she teaches me how I may thrive!
~I hope you have enjoyed this poem. Let me know your thoughts in the comments below!

What a powerful and beautifully evocative poem, Maranda! Thank you so much for sharing this intimate dance with us.
I am completely captivated by the way you’ve woven together the primal, awakening energy of the serpent with the deep, intuitive flow of the Divine Feminine. The imagery is so vivid—I could truly feel that “slithering within” and the “snaking movements” transforming into a sacred dance.
The transition from the “Serpent Queen” to the “Mermaid Goddess” was a stunning and profound revelation. It perfectly captures the essence of this energy: both earthily powerful and fluidly mystical, connecting the wisdom of the spine to the depths of the unconscious waters. The line, “writhing and wriggling into my heart,” is especially moving—it speaks of a transformation that isn’t just spiritual, but deeply embodied and emotional.
This poem is a true invocation. It doesn’t just describe the energy; it calls it, celebrates it, and fills the reader with a sense of that same vibrant vitality. I feel inspired to connect with my own internal rhythm after reading it.
Thank you for this gift. It’s a magnificent piece of work🤝
Thank you so much for your kind words! I am very glad to know that my poem has inspired you on your own spiritual journey. As always, thanks for reading and commenting!
You are always welcome Maranda 🌷🤝
