Welcome back to White Rose of Avalon, my Darlings. For today’s post, I will be sharing a very gratitude-filled reflection on having just wrapped up my first year of the Melusine Mysteries!
I truly cannot believe that my first class of the Melusine Mysteries has already finished. The whole seven months truly flew by, as I taught my students the Mermaid Magick, Arcane Wisdom, and Occult Knowledge, which Melusine has tasked me with sharing! All of the anxiety of launching my first-ever Online Class melted away as I got in the groove of teaching each month’s lessons. I always felt myself looking forward to each Live Class, excited to teach about Melusine, and to hear what my students thought. Speaking of my students, I just have to thank them from the bottom of my heart for taking this Journey with me as their Guide and Teacher. I want to acknowledge that my students were such wonderful people, and I could not have asked for a better first round of classes!
Teaching the Melusine Mysteries has taught me so much about myself, about my students, and truly about my Path as a Priestess of Avalon. While it was equal parts exciting and scary to be chosen by Melusine to teach about her, I knew that this was a Sacred Duty. Moreover, I knew that creating and teaching Online Classes was something that I had always wanted to do. After all, teaching Online Classes about the Faery Queens to whom I Prietess (and the Fae, in general) is such a wonderful act of Love and Devotion. However, I did go through times of uncertainty as I wrote the class, wondering if I was up to the task. Melusine was always there holding my hand and assuring me that this was what I was meant to do. So, of course, I am beyond grateful to Melusine Herself!
Over the last seven months, I have gotten so much support and feedback from my students, which made my heart sing. Knowing that what I have to say truly resonated with my students and that I could aid them in developing their own relationship with Melusine was an incredibly beautiful gift! As I already said, I could not have asked for a better first round of students, or for a better experience teaching my first-ever Online Class. It has only made me feel even more excitement and joy to welcome in a new cohort of students in the Spring! Of course, beyond preparing for the second round of the Melusine Mysteries, I am also working on another Online Class that I hope to launch next year, as well. Although I am not ready to share what that class will be, I will say it will be a short class. At the end of the day, this first round of the Melusine Mysteries has shown me that even with any other short classes I will develop over the years, the Melusine Mysteries truly feels like the Online Class that will be my flagship, the only one that will be several months long! That being said, we shall see what happens in the future, with the Melusine Mysteries, with any other classes I may develop, and with White Rose of Avalon as a whole.
So, yes, the last seven months have been a truly magickal and enchanted time which I would not trade for the world. I am so grateful to Melusine, to my students, to my husband (for his endless love and support), and even to myself for following through and making this class happen! My heart is so full of love and joy, and yes, a little sadness that the first round of the Melusine Mysteries has come to an end.
I hope you have enjoyed reading this short, gratitude-filled reflection on the end of my first round of the Melusine Mysteries! Are you interested in being in the second cohort of students this coming Spring? Let me know your thoughts in the comments below!
