Harvest Festival at the Pumpkin Patch: A Poem

Welcome back to White Rose of Avalon, my Darlings.   Today’s blog post is a poem about enjoying a Harvest Festival!

Harvest Festival at the Pumpkin Patch

by Maranda Wabik

Walking along row after row of orange gourds

Smelling the Apple Cider in the air

Leaves are falling everywhere

Oh, haven’t you heard?

Today is the day of the Harvest Festival

It is being held at the Pumpkin Patch

Oh, yes, you can join in at this Autumnal Carnival

The Witchy entertainment knows no match

As you walk around the Pumpkin Patch

The sounds and scents of the season abound

With Apples, Pumpkins, and Golden Autumn Leaves

Oh, the Ravens are crying joyfully in the eaves

The wind is whistling in my hair

The Faery Queens are whispering in my ear

I know that there is nothing to fear

On this joyful day at the Harvest Festival

Once the revelries have ended

It is time to return home

With hearts that have been truly mended

Sighing in gratitude for the wonderful day!
