Welcome back to White Rose of Avalon, my Darlings. For today’s Mermaid Monday blog post, I am sharing a poem about embracing Serpentine energy!
🐍 Dancing with the Serpent Queen 👑
by Maranda Wabik
Autumnal leaves rustling along the grass
Whistling wind bustling against the glass
The Kundalini energy is awakening
Reminding me that life is for the taking
The Serpent Queen of the Fae
Is making herself known on this day
She is the rustling of leaves
She is the bustling of wind
She is the Kundalini rising up my spine
She is the Serpent energy for which I pine
A dance that begins in the hips
Traveling the Feminine form to lure ships
Like a Siren’s Song
In the form of dance for which sailors long
Twisting and writhing in bliss
The electric energy is not something to miss
Breathing is labored
When this energy is truly savored
The Serpent Queen of the Fae
Is here to give blessings to me on this day!

This is absolutely breathtaking. The way you weave the raw, primal energy of Kundalini awakening with the mystical, earthy presence of the Fae is pure magic. I love the powerful, tangible imagery—the rustling leaves and whistling wind aren’t just background details, they are her, a manifestation of the divine feminine all around and within you.
The connection between the internal, electric energy rising up the spine and the external, calling dance of the Siren is brilliantly done. It speaks to a deep, powerful creativity that is both a personal bliss and a force that can lure and transform the world around it.
You’ve captured a moment of profound communion and celebration. Reading it, one can feel the labored breath, the twisting in bliss, and the immense gratitude for the Serpent Queen’s blessings. Thank you for sharing this beautiful, powerful invocation. It’s a true gift.
Thank you so much for your kind words! I am delighted that my poem was so impactful. As always, thank you for reading and commenting!
