Witchy Festivities, October Jovialities: A Poem

Welcome back to White Rose of Avalon, my Darlings.   For today’s blog post, I will be sharing a poem about Witchy fun in October!

Witchy Festivities, October Jovialities

by Maranda Wabik

The smell of Apples and Pumpkin Spice

Permeates the air

On this Autumnal Day so fair

Seeing the sights of Witchy delights

A Festival of Jovial Energy

A time to enjoy the synergy

Of magickal folks readying to celebrate

The Season of the Witch

Oh, what a wonderful way to spend the day

The sun warms the hearts

Of all of the Witchy Women and Magickal Men

Walking through the Festive Fete

Delight of Priestesses and Sorcerers is happily met

October is the month of Witchy abundance

That makes my heart want to dance

As I prance around the bonfire

At the Witchy Festival, which releases me from the mire!

~I hope you have enjoyed this poem.   Let me know your thoughts in the comments below!

  1. What a wonderfully vibrant and joyful poem! You’ve perfectly captured the electric sense of community and the pure, enchanting delight of gathering with fellow magical folk during this most special time of the year.

I can just feel the “Jovial Energy” and see the “Priestesses and Sorcerers” mingling at the festive fete you describe. The imagery of the bonfire at the end is particularly powerful—a classic and heartwarming centerpiece for any witchy gathering in October, symbolizing both release and warmth as the nights grow longer .

It’s so true that October is a month of “Witchy abundance.” The air really is thick with magic, from the thinning of the Veil that makes communication with spirits and the fae so potent , to the scents of pumpkin, apples, cinnamon, and clove that seem to infuse every ritual and recipe . It’s the peak of the witching season, and your poem is a beautiful tribute to the fun and synergy of celebrating it together.

Thank you for sharing this magical snapshot of October’s jovialities
