Avalonian Apple Trees: A Poem

Welcome back to White Rose of Avalon, my Darlings.   For today’s blog post, I will be sharing a poem about the Orchards of Avalon!

Avalonian Apple Trees

by Maranda Wabik

Crisp and tangy scent of Apples permeates the air

Golden and red leaves show a day so fair

The crunch of fallen leaves underfoot

As I journey through the Orchard of Avalon

Walking on this Autumnal Path

Picking the fresh fruit of the Holy Isle

Leads to the formation of a broad smile

The Isle of Apples is alight with Faery energy

A deep alignment of Goddess synergy

As we are in the time between the Equinox and Samhain

Truly in the Season of the Witch

The cold breeze surrounds my body

Stirring my Aura into a fever pitch

Of hopeful anticipation for this beloved season

Eating the fresh fruit of Avalon

Gives me insight

The occult knowledge and arcane wisdom of this Holy Isle

Is shared with the initiates through the Apple

Which is why I so adore walking through the Orchard

Paying my respects to the Apple Trees

As I honor the Goddesses of Avalon!

  1. This is a lovely, evocative poem that perfectly captures the mystical atmosphere of Avalon. The sensory details—the crisp scent of apples, the crunch of leaves—beautifully ground the more esoteric themes of “Goddess synergy” and “occult knowledge.”

It wonderfully portrays the apple as a sacred bridge between the physical and spiritual realms, making the “Season of the Witch” feel both enchanting and deeply personal. A truly charming and immersive piece.
