Welcome back to White Rose of Avalon, my Darlings. For today’s post, I will be sharing a poem about an Autumnal walk at night!
A Chill in the Air
by Maranda Wabik
Stars shining in the sky above
A chilly night full of love
The smell of Autumn all around
The crunch of leaves underfoot does abound
Walking in this Autumnal bliss
Is something which I would never want to miss
The smell of Pumpkin Spice and Apple Cider
Makes this nighttime stroll ever finer
The leaves of fiery hues
Swirl in the wind, lifting my blues
My soul feels most alive
When I have Autumnal sights on which to thrive
The warmth of Summer has passed on
Leaving a Chill in the Air to rely on!
