Welcome back to White Rose of Avalon, my Darlings.   For today’s blog post, I am announcing that I will be launching a Practical Magic Book Club for 2026 on my Patreon, Avalonian Rose Faery Mysteries!   This Book Club will begin in March 2026 and run through June 2026.   

For a bit more information, we will be reading the books in publication order.   That means Practical Magic in March, The Rules of Magic in April, Magic Lessons in May, and The Book of Magic in June.   The Book Club is open for all of my paid members to join in, so as long as you are in one of my three tiers between March and June of 2025, you are able to participate (if you want to), along with gaining access to all of my regular Patreon content (which will not change, as this is a bonus perk)!   

So, how will this Practical Magic Book Club work?   Well, I will begin a new group chat, just for the Book Club, where we will be able to discuss the current book we are reading amongst ourselves all month long.   Then at the end of the month, we will have a Live.   This will be either a Live Stream, or if enough people are interested, we can do a Live Meeting via Microsoft Teams, which is how I host my classes, and that would work with a simple click to join the meeting link being sent out.   Either way, at the Live, I will do a plot breakdown, and then we can get into an in-depth discussion about how we interpret the book, what some of our favorite things are in the plot, favorite characters, favorite moments, and even things we did not care for and would have changed (all opinions should be voiced, even of books we love).   As we get deeper into the series, we will also be able to add conjecture on what we think the sequel film may pull from the other three books in the series!   After all, that is what inspired this Book Club, as I wanted to do a reread of the books before the new film was released.    The Book Club seemed to be an ideal way to share my love for this series with my Patreon members at Avalonian Rose Faery Mysteries.
