Welcome back to White Rose of Avalon, my Darlings. For today’s blog post, I will be sharing a special reflection on the past year in my life, as today is also my birthday! I am so delighted to share some of the insights and successes that I have achieved over the last year. I find it so incredibly beautiful to look back upon my previous year as a new year is beginning for me with my Solar Return each year, and I am so happy to share some of these insights here this year!
Last year at this time, I had just finished getting ready to officially launch White Rose of Avalon as an LLC, creating a line of Herbal Teas and transferring my Tarot Reading Services into my LLC (instead of performing them as a freelance Reader). On September 13th, 2024, I officially launched the White Rose of Avalon Online Shop! Of course, I did not end up succeeding with my Herbal Tea line, so I discontinued the line in the Spring.
However, I have found growing success in focusing on my Metaphysical Services, making White Rose of Avalon a solely Priestess Business (instead of also being an Herbal Business). In October of 2024, I began writing my first-ever Online Class, the Melusine Mysteries, which I officially opened for enrollment for the first cohort of students in March of 2025. All the while, I have also been running my Patreon, Avalonian Rose Faery Mysteries, to provide exclusive content in the form of blog posts, meditations, and monthly Full Moon Tarot Readings. The first cohort of the Melusine Mysteries is coming to an end (it is seven months long from April through October) next month. I have also begun creating more classes that I hope to launch in the next couple of years, along with running the Melusine Mysteries every year!
Beyond my classes, I have also expanded my Metaphysical Offerings by also having Online Mentoring Sessions available, and having Downloaded Journal Prompts available on my Patreon Shop (which can be purchased without becoming a member). I have also done some in-person Herbal Tea Blending Classes at the end of 2024 and the beginning of 2025, and I worked my first Festival in August of 2025 (NEPA Pagan Pride Day), providing Tarot Reading Services in-person!
So, I have clearly come quite a long way in my Professional Priestessing. I am so blessed to be able to provide more Metaphysical Services, and even though I have failed in the Herbal Tea Blends, I know that, having tried, I have learned so much. Even though my Herbal Tea Line has failed, I am still so grateful that I have completed my Herbal Business Course from The Herbal Academy, for which I officially received my Certificate back in January of 2025. This was a great achievement, and one that I am proud of, as I did learn a lot that is applicable to my Priestess Business, even if I do not have an Herbal side to my Business anymore. Of course, I do still use my Herbal wisdom learned in that class to help with my personal life and health. I am honestly glad to know that my Metaphysical Services were always supposed to be the core of my Business, meaning that I have gained wisdom through the first year of my Business. After all, I learned that my Business grows when I focus on providing Metaphysical Services and Online Classes!
In my personal life, I have seen growth by not working a day job, as I quit my day job last August, as I was readying to launch White Rose of Avalon Online Shop. Beyond focusing on my Professional Priestessing, I have been giving myself time and space to create new things (using my creativity to birth forth Online Classes and New Services)! I have both made new friends and contacts, as well as grown apart from people who are not able to accept me in my life path. This has allowed me to gain so much knowledge and experience over this past year! I have also been able to learn a lot more about myself by beginning to study Sidereal and Vedic Astrology. I started my Sidereal and Vedic Astrology studies in January of 2025, and I have quickly become very immersed in learning about these other forms of Astrology, which is something that feels more aligned with my life path than traditional Western Tropical Astrology! I have also documented a lot of my Sidereal and Vedic Astrology studies here, especially my connection with my Cancer Ascendant (and Ascendant in Ashlesha Nakshatra) and my Leo Sun and Moon (and Sun and Moon in Purva Phalguni Nakshatra). I cannot express how much gratitude I have for delving into this kind of study to learn more about myself and my loved ones!

It’s clear that by focusing on your metaphysical gifts, you are absolutely thriving and providing such valuable services to your community.
On a personal level, it’s so empowering to read about you quitting your day job to fully embrace this path. The personal growth you describe—making new connections, releasing what no longer serves you, and diving deep into Sidereal and Vedic Astrology—resonates deeply. It sounds like you have truly come home to yourself this year, aligning with a practice that feels so authentically you.
