Bright Sun, Loving Mother Nature: A Poem

Welcome back to White Rose of Avalon, my Darlings.   For today’s blog post, I am sharing a poem about the Sun and Mother Nature’s energy!

Bright Sun, Loving Mother Nature

by Maranda Wabik

The Solar Rays beating down from above

The Motherly embrace of warmth and love

The Sun, the Sea, and the Earth

Are coming together to give birth

To new fruits this Harvest season

Leaving a desire beyond reason

A desire to Harvest the bounty of intention

A desire that is not about prevention

Reaping what was sown in the Spring

Is a beautiful way to see what joy will ring

A good Harvest is something of which to sing

As this is what we desire when intentions are made

To have fruit to reap will not leave you jade

Oh, what beauty it is to reap

For that is what the Soul can keep!

~I hope you have enjoyed this poem.   Let me know your thoughts in the comments below!

Note on Image: The image at the top of the post is the painting The First Harvest in the Wilderness by Asher B. Durand.   I found the artwork on https://www.brooklynmuseum.org/objects/167.
