Five More Sea Animal Guardians

Welcome back to White Rose of Avalon, my Darlings.   For today’s Mermaid Monday blog post, I will be discussing some more Sea Animal Guardians, as this is a follow-up to a post I did a few weeks ago on Sea Animal Guardians.   Without further ado, let’s look at five more Sea Animal Guardians!

SAND DOLLAR

~Sand Dollars are often viewed more as fossils than genuine animals, but they are originally animals before they die, and are collected on the beach.   Sand Dollars are associated with protection, good fortune, and amplifying intentions!

STARFISH

~Much like Sand Dollars, Starfish are often thought of in their dreid and fossil-like form, but they are truly animals that live in the Sea.   They are associated with healing and recovery, as they are very well-known for their ability to regrow limbs!   They are also associated with optimism and persistence.

CRAB

~Whether you look to Hermit Crabs or the more common types of Crabs that we often consume as food, the Crab is a potent animal guardian.   They are a great animal to connect with if you want to have protection, to have a safe place within your shell!

SEAGULL

~Seagulls are lovely waterfowl that are often spotted at the coastline.   The Seagull is associated with freedom, adaptability, and communication.   They are a perfect animal guardians to bridge the elements of Water and Air!

HERON

~ Herons are another type of waterfowl that you may encounter at the shore.   They are associated with independence, self-determination, wisdom, and spiritual messages.   They are another animal guardian that bridges the elements of Water and Air, and are great to work with when you are looking to work with both elements!

~I hope you have enjoyed this short look at five more Sea Animal Guardians. Did you notice that two of these are animals used as friends to Ariel in Disney’s The Little Mermaid? Sebastian was obviously a Crab, and Scuttle was a Seagull! I did not plan this, but I think it is very fitting for a Mermaid Monday post, and I could not resist pointing it out.   What Sea Animals do you feel drawn to?   Let me know your thoughts in the comments below!

Note on Image: The image at the top of the post is a Seagull.   I found the picture on https://bird-x.com/blog/seagulls-the-most-intelligent-and-resourceful-seabird-and-pest-bird/.
