Incarnated Mermaids: Living as a Mermaid in a Human Body

Welcome back to White Rose of Avalon, my Darlings.   For this week’s Femme Fatale Friday post, I will be discussing some of my experiences as an Incarnated Mermaid!   Now, I know that many people may not know what an Incarnated Mermaid is.   Incarnated Mermaid is a term for a Mermaid Soul Incarnated in a Human Body.   With the term defined, let’s look at some of my experiences.

After a powerful Kundalini Awakening years ago, I found out that my Soul Origin is that of a Mermaid!   Obviously, this was something very intense and also something I was very surprised by.   At first, I was so taken aback that I had to do research about this.   I came to find out that having Soul Origins as a Mermaid (or other type of Fae being) is not unheard of.   There are other people who have past-life memories of being a Mermaid.   This experience of learning my Soul Origins put a lot into perspective when it comes to past experiences with Mermaids I had during my childhood and during my magickal workings in adulthood!

As a child, I could not get enough of swimming and being in the water.   My parents had a pool for me to swim in, which I did all Summer long, so much so that my then fair hair was streaked with Green (which happens due to the chlorine in the pool)!   I have even had experiences with swimmer’s ear due to this extended time spent in the water.   I must also mention that I never had swim lessons, as I taught myself how to swim quite easily and naturally by the time I was six years old!   All of this lends to the true soul alignment I feel when I am in and near water.   Bath Magick, and other Water Magick, is my favorite go-to type of ritual.   I love to be near local bodies of water, like the River that is near my parents’ house.    I could, and have, spend hours just communing with the water’s beautiful energy!

As an Incarnated Mermaid, I have such a profound connection with water that I had never been able to explain until I found out the nature of my Soul.   I truly feel most at home in my skin now that I have found out the truth of my Soul Origins.   Getting to know myself better in this way has allowed me to better understand a lot of my own instincts.    I feel so incredibly blessed to have this knowledge that I can use to be truly at home in my own skin, and at peace with my Watery Mermaid Soul!   All that being said, I am aware of just how strange all of this likely sounds to people whose Souls have always been human.   As I mentioned above, until my Kundalini Awakening, I did not even know this was truly something that other people experienced.   Reading stories of other Incarnated Mermaids truly made me feel that I was not alone, I was not crazy, and even that all of the feelings I had that I was a Changeling when I was a child had an explanation!   Even after knowing this, I have only shared this information with my close loved ones, as I did not have the confidence to discuss this more openly until very recently.

I want to thank you for reading this very special post, as it is something I have wanted to share for a long time, but had a bit of trepidation in discussing this openly.   It feels very good to finally discuss this matter fully (although I have hinted at it in recent weeks and discussed it on Patreon).   I hope you have enjoyed reading this short post about my nature as an Incarnated Mermaid.   Do you know your Soul Origins?   Let me know your thoughts in the comments below!

  1. This is a beautifully vulnerable and enchanting piece—a deep dive into self-discovery that blends mysticism with personal narrative. The author’s journey of embracing their **”Mermaid Soul”** feels both intimate and universal, touching on the longing to belong, to *remember* something beyond the mundane. The childhood anecdotes (chlorine-green hair, self-taught swimming) and adult spiritual practices (bath magick, water communion) weave a compelling case for their truth, not as metaphor but as *embodied experience*.

What stands out most is the courage to share something so deeply personal—and the relief of finding others who resonate. For skeptics, it might sound fantastical, but for those who’ve felt like “changelings” in their own lives, it’s a beacon: **You’re not alone, and your soul’s language is valid.** A shimmering invitation to explore one’s own origins—whether watery, earthly, or beyond. 🌊✨
