Welcome back to White Rose of Avalon, my Darlings.   Today’s blog post is a Mermaid Monday look at Mermaids and Communication Skills.   As the title states, this look at how Mermaids are connected with communication skills will focus on the nature of the Siren’s Song!

We can think of Mermaids and their famed singing as a deep connection with the communication skills associated with the Throat Chakra.   This nature of communication is special in that this is a Watery Communication, an Emotional Communication.   For the Mermaids are singing the Song of emotional longing, the song of a real depth of feeling.   That is truly why the Siren’s Song is the Lure that will bring you into thrall.   Learning to utilize our voices like the Mermaids can allow us to access our deep Feminine Power, as that is what the Siren’s Song truly is!

Obviously, we can access this through singing and expressing ourselves through our vocals.   We can also do this by speaking out for environmental changes, especially those associated with the Ocean, other Bodies of Water, and the Animals and Corals found therein.   Not to mention, we can do things to open our Throat Chakra involving Water, such as gargling Water to soothe our the vocal cords, bonus points if you gargle Saltwater, as that is even more Mermaidy.   If you want to begin to truly embrace the Mermaid version of communication, I suggest a good place to start is singing in the shower or in the bath!

This connection between Mermaids and communication skills is a very interesting thing to think about, as I do not think it is as discussed as other aspects of Mermaid Magick.   Most people think about Mermaids and Sexuality or Mermaids and Beauty, but I always want to look into all aspects of Mermaid Magick!    That is why I just had to write this short blog post about this often overlooked aspect of Mermaid energy.   I hope you have enjoyed this look at the connection between Mermaids and Communication Skills.   What is your favorite thing about Siren’s Songs?   Let me know your thoughts in the comments below!
