Mermaid and Honey: A Poem

Welcome back to White Rose of Avalon, my Darlings.   For today’s blog post, I have written a poem about the Honeyed energy of Mermaid sensuality!

Mermaid and Honey

by Maranda Wabik

The Sun’s rays warming the rock

As I grab my seashell comb to untangle my hair

Softly singing a sweet melody as I care for my Mermaid mane

The smell of salt water hangs in the air

I can feel the sticky, sugary Honey being dripped on my tail

Falling from a nearby ship full of treasures

A sense of curiosity overwhelmed me

As I tried the Honey, finding it to be delectable

The sweet Honey

The warm Sun

The salty Water

All combine to form a sensory overload

In the best possible way

For Mermaids know all about sensuality

It is beautiful to bask in the senses

Feeling alight with new possibility

Oh, how I love the discovery of new treasure

When the value is far beyond measure!

~I hope you have enjoyed this poem.   Let me know your thoughts in the comments below!
