White Petals and Floral Breeze: A Poem

Welcome back to White Rose of Avalon, my Darlings.   For today’s post, I am sharing a poem about the floral beauty of Beltane season!

White Petals and Floral Breeze

by Maranda Wabik

Hawthorn trees hang heavy with many a five-petaled blossom

The heady scent of the tree of May overcomes the senses

The enchantment of the Faery Queens is truly awesome

Making my heart leap over fences

As I am guided to join the May Queens in Avalon

Guinevere, Blodeuwedd, and Rhiannon

Are calling to me as the Spring energy is in full bloom

Arriving on Avalon

I see that the namesake Apple Trees

Are full of five-petaled white flowers

A match to the Hawthorn blossoms of May

Lovely Rosacea Trees are harbingers of Fertility

Asking us to bask in our Sacred Sexuality

As the Beltane fires burn

And our senses are lost in a heady churn

Of endless emotion

And a life full of Faery Queen devotion!

~I hope you have enjoyed this poem.   Let me know your thoughts in the comments below!
