Welcome back to White Rose of Avalon, my Darlings. Today’s blog post is a poem about Faery Queens and Honeybees!
Queen of the Honeybee
by Maranda Wabik
Softly I hear
A buzzing in my ear
Sweet little Honeybee is drawing near
As I laze in the Flower Garden
Feeling in a daze of delight
At the energy of Spring’s might
I see my sweet little Honeybee friend
Go from bud to bud
Pollinating the plants
Making sure the Flowers are healthy
Oh, sweet little Honeybee
You are such an important aid to the Flower Bride
She knows your power and is in debt
To all the work you do for the Honeyed Celtic Venus
Faery Queens and Honeybees,
What an important relationship
To ensure Springtime and Summery abundance
Devotion to the Faery Queen, the May Queen, the Celtic Venus
Is also Devotion to the nature of the Honeybee
Never underestimate the important role of our pollinator friends
For without them
We should not have the beauty of Flowers
Or abundance of fruits, grains, and vegetables
I am so grateful for my Honeybee friends
For all they do to ensure the health of our ecosystem!
~I hope you have enjoyed this poem. Do you love Honeybees as much as I do? Let me know your thoughts in the comments below!

Reading this felt just like a pleasant afternoon laying in a garden listening to the bees buzz. More people definitely need to pay attention to the pollinators like this.
Thank you so much! That was definitely what I had in mind when I was writing the poem! I agree that we need to spread the word about how important our pollinators are, which is why I write about them quite often. Thank you for reading and commenting! 🐝
