Welcome back to White Rose of Avalon, my Darlings. Today’s Beltane blog post is an announcement that my Beltane Tarot Reading Special is officially live! I am so excited to begin offering these very special readings to my clients for this month.
Many of my longtime readers will know just how important Beltane is to me. I have long adored the energy of the height of Spring, before the sweltering heat of Summer sets in. I grew up truly feeling there was something so special about the Month of May, even long before I learned about Beltane. As a small child, it was this innate knowing that there was so much magick in this time of year! Even simply attending the local Cherry Blossom Festival (always held at the end of April or beginning of May) was such a joy, a favorite activity of mine in childhood. As I grew and learned more about Beltane as a holiday, beginning with Guinevere’s love of going a-Maying in the Arthurian legends, I knew exactly why this time was so special, rivaled only by Halloween (and Samhain). Beltane is the height of life, growing, sexuality, and abundance. You see, Beltane is the ideal balance point for Samhain, being the height of the harvest, a time of dying off, a time of honoring the dead!
My Beltane Tarot Reading Special is even named in honor of Guinevere and how her story led to my first true knowledge of what Beltane was as a child (probably six or seven when I made the connection between the energy of Beltane and the stories of Guinevere I grew up reading). The Beltane Special is titled: Lusty Month of May, Beltane Tarot Reading Special (Pre-Recorded)🌹 🐝. This is after the song The Lusty Month of May that is sung by Guinevere’s character in the Lerner and Loewe musical Camelot!
