Welcome back to White Rose of Avalon, my Darlings. Today’s Tarot Tuesday blog post is a list of some of my favorite Tarot and Oracle decks to use for Spring! These decks are not ranked, instead they just simply reflect some of the decks I personally use that hold this seasonal energy for me. Without further ado, let’s look at Springtime Tarot and Oracle decks!
Seasons of the Witch: Beltane Oracle by Lorriane Anderson
~I begin this list of favorite Springtime decks with a very obvious one. I have two of these Wheel of the Year Oracle decks, this one and the Samhain one, as they are my favorite holidays. This one is full of the fertility, sensuality, and lively energy of Beltane! I adore how much golden honey imagery and bee imagery is in this deck, as it feels very much like how I celebrate Beltane. The imagery and energy of this deck definitely highlight the height of Spring and the burgeoning of Summer in a lovely way!
The Faery Forest Oracle by Lucy Cavendish
~This is one of Lucy Cavendish’s several Oracle decks. As the title suggests, it is a deck full of Faery Forest beings, creatures, and deities. The Wild Green Woodland energy of this deck feels very Springy to me, but I do have to note that there are also cards that hold the energy of the other seasons. It is just that the centering on the plant life and Forest imagery really feels like Spring to me more than any other season!
Faeries Oracle by Brian Froud
~Of course I had to have Brain Froud’s deck on this list! I adore the Faery artwork of Brian Froud, and this deck holds so much of the Wild energy of the Fae folk. With so much Wild Green energy, again this deck feels like an ideal Spring deck!
The Wisdom of the Wild Things Oracle by Angi Sullins
~This one is such a cute deck full of Fae folk of all sorts, and also full of so much whimsy. The whimsical energy of this Faery Oracle is what truly makes me feel the energy of Spring, with all of its youthful energy of renewal!
Tarot of the Hidden Realm by Julia Jeffrey & Barbara Moore
~This deck is a great Faery Tarot deck. The imagery is beautiful and truly embraces the energy of the Fae in a truly breathtaking way. Many of the images on the cards themselves look like Spring and Summer, which makes me associate this deck so much with the season of Spring!
