Welcome back to White Rose of Avalon, my Darlings.   Today’s blog post is a poem about the Fertility of the Land made manifest in the form of Faery Queens!

Fertility of the Land

The soft curves of the Goddess of the Land

Are manifest as Hills and Valleys

The Faery Queen travels through the Portal in the Hill

Ready to give to the King her hand

A marriage made to cement ties between man and Faery allies

The fertility of the Land and man is shown to fill

The Court and Kingdom with heirs

Children of both human and Fae blood

The next rulers of the Kingdom

The next generation of the communion between Fae and men

The hope for the future made manifest

By the Fertility of the Land

The Fertility of the Faery Queen

The Fertility of the Marriage of Fae and man

The Faery Queen rules kindly over the Court

While her Royal husband fights in battles

The Knights go on Quests

The children grow and learn to become the new fighters

The Faery Queen presides over the Maidens of her cohort

Other powerful Faery Women wed to mortals

An endless cycle of the love and union between 

Earth and Faeryland!
