A Reflection on The Melusine Mysteries First Live Class

Welcome back to White Rose of Avalon, my Darlings.   For today’s post, I have decided to share a gratitude-filled reflection on the first live class for The Melusine Mysteries, which took place this past weekend!

All of the live classes in The Melusine Mysteries take place on the weekend, particularly the first Saturday of the month and the last Sunday of the month.   I set it up this way to make it easier for my students to fit the classes into their schedules, but I also record the live classes, so they have a replay if they cannot attend live (or if they want to watch it back to take notes)!

So, I have to be honest, I was slightly nervous before I taught the class, even though I had spent so much time creating this class (and was very well prepared).   However, as soon as I launched the video meeting for the class, my nerves began to melt away!   I let my knowledge and passion for the material take over, as I discussed the information in our first month guidebooks.   It felt so nice to be able to share the information verbally and elaborate on some of the things I had written in the guidebooks, as I structured the class to have a lot of written material plus live classes to be recorded.   In the lives, I wanted to give more depth of understanding to the written material, which is exactly what I have been able to do!

I know that different students learn best in different ways, so this way my class has both the written materials and also a deeper exploration of those materials as I verbally discuss the subject.   Live classes also give the opportunity for my students to ask questions and gain clarity on what they have read.   Of course, they can also always ask these questions by emailing me or posting in the private Discord channel for the class, but I know that getting to ask me while I am on screen (and sharing my computer screen) as we go over materials is nice!   I really appreciated being able to begin this first live class by introducing myself and allowing the students to also introduce themselves to help build a community within the class.

I am so blessed to have amazing students with me for this first round of The Melusine Mysteries.   Their passion for the material shows me that I am truly attracting the right people, ones who have a deep desire to build a relationship with Melusine!   After going over the material, I ended the class with a guided meditation to meet Melusine, which was so lovely and the students seemed very moved by the meditation.   I felt so touched that the meditation I had guided them on had this deep of a resonance for them, as mentoring my students and fostering communion with Melusine is why I created this class!

This beautiful experience in my first live class makes me feel so blessed and also so excited for our next live (to see how this month’s magickal workings with Melusine have gone for my students).   It is a truly rewarding experience to get to build a Faery Queen Immersion like this and share the love and devotion of Melusine with my students!

I hope you have enjoyed reading this short reflection on my first live class for The Melusine Mysteries.   I want to end this post by saying a huge thank you to my first cohort of students!   This is such an exciting and rewarding way to begin my Spring.   What exciting new things are you doing this Spring?    Let me know your thoughts in the comments below!
