Dance of the Flower Maiden

Bright Rose of Spring

Blossoming on the bush

Flowers that announce all the beauty they will bring

The Flower Maiden, Rosy Cheeked, is in a rush

To reveal her bounty and her floral ring

Song of Spring is sung, loudly never in a hush

The Sun shines brightly upon the Faery King

Who watches this Dance

In a thorough trance

For this Flower Maiden is a Faery Queen

The one to whom he will be wed

The Flower Bride to whose bed

He will retire after their Wedding fete

Conceiveing the heir to the throne is a sure bet

In this Spring Dance, of a Lover’s Fling

To bless the Land with fertility, it is just the thing!
