Welcome back to White Rose of Avalon, my Darlings.   Today’s blog post is a very brief overview of the Seven Aspects of Melusine that I will be teaching my Students about in my seven-month class, The Melusine Mysteries!   This post is a bit of an evolution of the post I did yesterday on the Mother Melusine and the development of the class, but this time, I am giving a brief overview of each of the seven aspects.

APRIL Month 1: THE MAIDEN MELUSINE

~We will begin our Journey into The Melusine Mysteries by studying her Maiden aspect.    This is Melusine during her childhood in Avalon, a youthful, innocent, and loving Faery Queen, but also very protective of her Mother (which led her and her two sisters to punish their Father for his betrayal of their Mother).   We will be studying Melusine’s legend from her parents’ meeting through her childhood and the punishment of her father this month! 

MAY Month 2: THE WELL MAIDEN MELUSINE

~The second month of our Journey into The Melusine Mysteries will be spent studying her Well Maiden aspect.   This is Melusine after being punished by her Mother (for what happened to her Father) to spend Saturdays in her Mermaid form.   It is at this point that Melusine meets her husband Raymond while tending a Well or a Fountain in the Forest.   That is why I also call this aspect as the Lady of the Fountain Melusine!

JUNE Month 3: THE CREATRIX MELUSINE

~The third month of our Journey into The Melusine Mysteries will be spent studying her Creatrix aspect.   This is Melusine when she married Raymond and began building the town of Lusignan, as well as birthing sons!   This is Melusine in her most Empress energy, the Lover energy full of fertility and providing prosperity.  

JULY Month 4: THE MOTHER MELUSINE

~The fourth month of our Journey into The Melusine Mysteries will be spent studying her Mother aspect.   This is Melusine as the loving and nurturing Mother to her ten sons.   As I went over in my last blog post, Melusine’s Mother aspect is also much of how she presented herself to me in a nurturing and gently loving way as I created this class about her!

AUGUST Month 5: THE QUEEN MELUSINE

~The fifth month of our Journey into The Melusine Mysteries will be spent studying her Queen aspect.   This is Melusine as the Sovereign Faery Queen Goddess who must assure that promises to her are kept.   That is why we will be exploring the betrayal of her husband Raymond this month, as he did not respect her Sovereignty by spying on her on a Saturday (which was a promise made before their marriage)!  

SEPTEMBER Month 6: THE PRIESTESS MELUSINE

~The sixth month of our Journey into The Melusine Mysteries will be spent studying her Priestess aspect.   This is Melusine after her return to Avalon after Raymond’s betrayal.   Living in Avalon, she is at home with many other Goddesses who also hold Priestess energy, plus she still visited her youngest sons after she left Raymond! 

OCTOBER Month 7: THE ANCESTRESS MELUSINE 

~Finally, the last month of our Journey into The Melusine Mysteries will be spent studying her Ancestress aspect.   This is Melusine as an Ancestress of the Land, Ancestress of Avalon, and her Lasting Legacy!   The Ancestress, as the Lasting Legacy of Melusine and her impact on history for centuries, is the ideal aspect to study as we finish off this class.
